„Bist Du zur Grammy-Verleihung mit dem Privatjet geflogen, oder doch noch mal Linienflug?“ Solche blöden Fragen musste sich Karsten von mir gefallen lassen. Es war mein erstes geplantes Portraitshooting, alleine und ohne weitere fremde Hilfe. Bei den Fliegern würde man vom ersten Soloflug sprechen.
Apropos Flieger und Privatjets: Es gibt Ratgeber, die einem Portrait-Fotografen nahelegen, das Model im Dialog in eine Welt zu entführen, in der es eine Rolle spielt, die dem gewünschten Foto nahekommt. Karsten hat sich einen Traum erfüllt und sein Rockalbum „Standbild“ produziert, mehr oder weniger im Alleingang.
Ich finde, es ist ganz fantastisch gelungen und höre es auf Spotify sehr oft. Gernegger hat einen Bürojob und als wir uns zum Fotografieren in der Ham– burger City Nord trafen, galt es für mich, den Rocker aus ihm rauszuholen. Dazu habe ich ihn in die Welt entführt. Mit Geschichten von wilden Partys und dem harten, ausschweifenden Leben welches er als Rockstar führen würde. In der Hoffnung, dass das auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Karsten, ich danke Dir!
Die Technik
Kamera: Leica M (Typ 240), 35mm f/2.0 Summicron, 50mm f/1.4 Summilux, 75mm f/2.5 Summarit, Toshiba FlashAir SD Karte und die App Shuttersnitch auf einem Tablet zur sofortigen Kontrolle der Fotos die über die Toshiba Karte drahtlos gestreamt wurden.

„Did you fly to the Grammy Awards on a private jet, or did you fly commercial again?“ Karsten had to put up with such stupid questions. It was my first planned portrait shoot, alone and without any further help from outside. The airmen would speak of the first solo flight.
Apropro’s aviators and private jets, there are guides that suggest a portrait photographer to kidnap the models brain in dialogue into a world in which comes close to the target photo. Karsten has fulfilled his dream and produced his Rock record CD „Standbild„, more or less single-handedly.
I think it’s fantastic and I hear it on Spotify very often. Karsten has been working in an office located in the Hamburg City Nord. During his posing for the camera, I bombed him with stories of wild parties and the hard, dissolute life which he would lead as a rock star. With the hope to see the tough Rocker in the pictures.
